自由民主党改革宣言

　我々は先の総選挙に敗北した。これは、自民党の終わりを意味するのか？　否、はじまりなのだ！

　かつて５５年体制の下、自由民主党は自由主義、資本主義、そして日米同盟を主張し、共産主義に対抗した。

　しかし、共産主義が敗れ、冷戦が終わってみれば、我々はその圧倒的な勝利故に、政党としての再定義が必要となったのである。冷戦終結後、自民党とは何かという問いに対して、政権与党であるとしか答えられなくなっていたというのが現実である。しかし、野党になってしまった自民党に、そう答えることはできない！
