リリースノートによると、既知の問題として “Possible corruption of large files with ext4 filesystem [ubuntu.com]” というのがあります。
ext4のファイルシステム上に大きなファイル (512MB超) を書き込むと、データが壊れる可能性があるとのこと。

大きなファイルを使う人はext3でインストールするか、問題が解決するのを待った方がいいかもしれません。
