民主党の支持団体・日教組（北海道の北海道教職員組合）の動きを伝える記事だが、事もあろうに、竹島を不法占拠し、領有権を唱える「「韓国側の主張が事実に基づいている」という資料を作成し、組合員らに配布していたことが、27日明らかになった」（表題）と伝える記事である。 具体的にどのように配布したのか、記事には、「資料が配布されたのは、日本政府が中学校社会科の新学習指導要領の解説書で、独島に関する記述を盛り込んでから4カ月後のことだ。解説書に従って教科書の内容が変わっても、教育現場では「韓国の主張が正しい」と生徒たちに教えるよう指示するものだった」（同）とある。事実とすれば、この団体に国籍を問わねばなるまい。

　そもそも、教師はいかなる信条にあれども、既定によって教職に就く限りは、国の次世代を担う子供たちに対して、いずこの主権国家でも教えている国旗、国歌をはじめとして、国の綱格と領土領海について正しく教える。これがごくごく当然の教師の役割であり、この日本もまったく例外ではないはずだが。 しかし、事実をねじ曲げ、南北朝鮮の虚構宣伝に沿ったかのように、その主張を代弁するとあれば、もはや、本来の、教職の基本使命を放棄したに等しい。
