坂本龍一が監修する全30巻の音楽全集『commmons: schola』シリーズの映像編となる番組『“スコラ” 坂本龍一 音楽の学校』が、NHK教育テレビで4月3日からスタートすることが明らかになった。

同番組は「音楽の学校」というコンセプトのもと、各界の専門知識を持ったゲストを迎えた対談やワークショップなどを通じて、豊富な資料映像とともに音楽を深く知ることを目的としており、音楽を志す中学生から高校生を主なターゲットとなる。

第1シーズンとなる今回は「バッハ」「ジャズ」「ドラムとベース」の3シリーズを対象に、ひとつの音楽テーマを4週間にわたりで学問として掘り下げていく。
