無宗教な人にとって、仏教はおそらく最も敷居が低い宗教だ。

「神を信じろ」とか、「来世のために生きろ」とか、そういう現代の日本人には理解しがたい「信仰心」を、必ずしも要求しない。

宗派によっていろいろあるが、根本の部分は極めて理知的な思想だ。

ゆえに、「宗教にどっぷり浸かるのは嫌だけど、

日常生活にちょっと宗教的なポジティブ思考をエッセンスとして加えたい」という人に、仏教はお勧めだ。
