5年前に入社した原君は、全然仕事をしません。
履歴書には、うちには勿体ないような経歴が書かれていたので採用しましたが、
ふたを開けてみたら、
タバコを吸いに出たらいつまでたっても職場に戻ってこないし、
お願いした図面を一ヶ月かかっても描き上げることができないし、
製品テストを任せてもいい加減でお客さんから大目玉を食らうし、
全く困ったもんなんです。
でもね、もう50を過ぎる彼を首にしてしまったら、
次に雇ってくれるところはないんじゃないかと思って、我慢しています。

そんな彼ですが、ハードはまるっきりだめでも、
実はソフトを任せたらピカイチってことに最近気付きました。
根気よく使っていれば、長所が見つかるもんです。

このように、うちはエリートの集まりではありません。
取引先の社長から、「この子、加藤さんとこで世話したってくれへんやろか」と
頼まれて仕方なく採用したり、公募で採用しても原君のような人しかきません。
それでも、それぞれの長所をうまく活かしてやれば、
大手にだって負けないすごいもんが作れたりします。
伊丹にあるこんな小さな町工場に、
シャープさんなどの案件が
持ち込まれるのは、その証拠です。

今回も、すごい人は望んでいません。
原君よりも仕事ができれば、御の字です。
でも、期待はしています。
あなたに、うちの会社の将来がかかっているんですから。
